The event in Szekesfehervar
A meeting in Hungary had mainly introductory character. The participants presented their organisations, training systems and social environment. Due to the fact that ARISZ Szekesfehervar is a social organization, in which sport is only one of the fields of activity, the information about other projects was also prepared.
ARISZ owns great experience in work with children and youth being endangered with social exclusion because of poverty and nationality. The hosts presented their achievements, projects and ideas for the future.
After the meetings, the participants took part in the exhibition training and had the opportunity of talking with the sportswomen from a football team managed by ARISZ.
In the meeting in Szekesfehervar participated ca. 30 people from all three countries.
During the next day the summary of the meeting was made and the hosts presented a cultural performance of Hungarian children.
The event in Gogolin
In a meeting in Gogolin, apart from invited guests, a large group of Swedish, Hungarian and Polish sportswomen took part, who played a tournament and ran collective trainings. One exhibition training was led, during which the assumptions of work with children from poor families were discussed.
During the discussion panel special emphasis was put on work with low-motivated sportswomen. Particular interlocutors discussed their own training methods and the rules of recruitment and motivating the competitors lacking support in their environment.
At the end, the hosts showed a presentation concerning available sources of financing such projects. The rules of mutual reckonings were discussed and ...
The event in Helsingborg
Sweden is a country that possesses specially big experience at integrating young people from migrants’ families. In HBK Club participating in the project, around 45% of sportsmen and sportswomen are descended from the families of a different nationality than Swedish.
A meeting was held in 22-24th June 2009, in which altogether over 30 people took part. During the seminars and meetings the organizers demonstrated their system of working with youth, the organization of work and training methods. The participants had an opportunity of taking part in the coaches’ briefing, and the particular lecturers delivered materials concerning the team training system, the cooperation of the Club with schools and social organizations.
The meeting was the summary of the whole project at the same time. The participants together assessed the project as very fruitful and declared the further cooperation.
A new programme of the European Commission concerning projects in the field of sports appears to be specially attractive.
In the form of a workshop the participants elaborated the assumptions of the forthcoming project and created a basis of their contacts in order to include more friendly clubs and organizations.
